Post In which alfazer0 learns ZPS mapping (need help already)
So today I downloaded the SDK base, as well as other things I might need like SDK Base 2006 and SDK Base 2007. I already have ZPS and HL2 installed. (Just HL2, not HL2:E2, which I hope I won't need).

Now I am going by this video.

I set the Engine version to "Source Engine 2007". (The current game when I do that, and the only option, is "Half-Life 2"). But when I click "Launch Hammer", I get the following message:

"No game configurations to run with."

Before I go down the long and uncertain route of deleting and reinstalling everything, I was wondering if there is a more elegant solution to this problem.

Thanks.

PS. Hammer launches normally when I select "Source Engine MP" as my engine version, however that is presumably useless for the purposes of making ZPS maps.

EDIT: Okay, I found a solution to this issue. I now have it working with the grids and stuff. Will be posting progress as it occurs.

Usually look at this when i have mapping for zps on my mind it's got most of the things specific to zps you'll need.

Glad to see others take on the task of mapping. Was gonna post a few links, but their covered in that sites list of links. Halfwit's site is pretty good. Many great tutorials there.

Good luck man :D
